Bald Head Island Family Week

Each summer we manage to get ALL the Horton children and grandchildren all to Bald Head Island at the same time - and into the same house!  This has proven more challenging each year as additional grandkids are added to the family.  With the addition of Grayson, there are now 8 grandkids that are allocated to the 'kids' room that really only has four beds and a pull-out couch.  It takes a little finessing but once again, everyone slept comfortably this year (without having to sleep on the boat as Grammy had suggested since everyone really wanted to be together).  We had a great week filled with boat excursions, fishing, tennis, eating and laughing.  Thank you Grammy and Papa once again for making this happen!

We even had a neighbor who brought over his fancy drone that he's been flying around the island and we had cocktails on the beach while he flew the drone overhead taking pictures.  A little odd but a few great pics of the house and beach from above.

Of course, we have to make sure we get on the tennis courts for cardio tennis in the mornings whenever possible.  Especially fun when you have 8 grandchildren cheering for you to win.  Not the best "tennis" etiquette but fun all the same!

Last but not least, every year we come home with fun pictures to remind us of all of our family.  Living in Singapore, we appreciate even more being able to pull up pictures of our family together to make us smile.  Thanks Grammy and Papa!
